Levity

Levity is an acrobatic collaboration of Sara Sparrow and Graeme Quinn. For over four years, they have been entertaining locally and internationally with their unique, charming, and dynamic acrobatic style, including at the Bonnaroo Music Festival. Graeme Quinn has been performing in and around the Seattle area for the past 10 years. Starting as a fire manipulation artist with a background in martial arts, he eventually moved his focus into the realm of partner acrobatics and foot juggling. Graeme currently performs with Levity and the Tallhouse Arts Consortium; past collaborations include Art of Such n Such, Pyrosutra, and Primary Element. Sara Sparrow came to modern circus through a background as a gymnast, an actor and performer in musical theater. She is a classically trained singer and musician, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. She began studying acrobatics and aerial arts at Seattle’s School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts in 2005, and currently offers aerial instruction in Olympia. In addition to her solo aerial work, Sara has performed and created work with Levity, Ricochet, the Aerialistas, and the Tallhouse Arts Consortium. www.misssparrow.com
