Camp ZinZanni is a summer workshop presented by Teatro ZinZanni in
San Francisco and Seattle for children ages 5-16. Students learn the basics of circus arts and scene development through workshops with some of the world's greatest cirque artists and stage technicians.

Acrobalance + Clowning gives students ages 9-16 the chance to learn the basics of floor acrobatics and balance with clowning. Under the guidance of professional performers, the students will star with tumbling and then will explore rola bola, equilibristics, unicycle, rolling globe, aerial arts and more.

Objects in Motion + Clowning gives students ages 9-16 the chance to learn the basics of juggling, object manipulation and clowning. Under the guidance of professional performers, students will begin each morning with juggling sessions and then explore the manipulation of objects such as yoyo's, rings, ribbons, spinning plates, diabolo, cigar boxes, spinning clubs and hats.

Clown Crash-Course, a five-day summer day camp for students ages 5 to 8, gives campers the chance to learn the basics of clowning with a focus on movement and a general overview of circus skills. Campers will be exposed to slapstick, balance, and circus-related crafts and will participate in a show-and-tell for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Mime & Mask + Clowning gives students ages 9-16 the chance to learn the basics of circus acting: mask work heightens awareness of non-verbal communication and mime exaggerates expression of the body and face while clowning conveys humor. Under the guidance of professional performers, students will research the art of physical expression, gaining an appreciation of the power of communication without spoken language. They will also explore the art of physical comedy through slapstick.

Prerequisite: Past participation in at least one Camp ZinZanni session for students 9-16 or approval from Camp Director. May include sessions attended in 2010.
Can you tell a story through juggling? What makes acrobatics even more interesting than the skill itself? In Circus Performance, students ages 9-16 with previous circus experience will get the opportunity to create a basic circus performance. Under the guidance of professional performers, students will focus on stage presence, story elements, and will present their show for friends and family on the last day of camp.
