Argan loves being sick, but it’s costing him a lot of money. So he tries to marry his daughter off to his doctor in exchange for a lifetime of free medical treatment. Of course, his daughter is in love with someone else. Soon the entire household is involved in an elaborate, uproarious plot to save true love. Classic comedy along with master classes from world-famous professional circus performers. The week culminates in a final performance for family and friends.

Partner camp with Teatro ZinZanni and Pacific Science Center

Science is everywhere at the circus! At Teatro ZinZanni you take the center ring and apply the science of the circus to clowning, magic and balancing skills as taught by our cast of international circus artists. Learn about comic timing, basics of slapstick, fundamentals of juggling, simple sleight of hand and other magic and balancing acts. At Pacific Science Center test physics as you master your center of gravity and experiment with inertia, motion, momentum and balance. Find out about physiology and your muscles’ flexibility as you attempt incredible circus feats. Campers spend half the day at Pacific Science Center and half the day at Teatro ZinZanni.

Partner camp with Seattle Children’s Theatre

Join us for a week of serious comedy. From Charlie Chaplin to John Cleese and Lucille Ball, great physical comedians have also been great actors who created unforgettable characters and then put them in impossibly difficult situations. We will focus on classic routines; a teaching artist from Teatro ZinZanni will teach you the moves, and an acting teacher from Seattle Children’s Theatre will help you discover and integrate the characters, relationships, objectives and setting of the scene.
