  • Grimm’s Circus Tales

    Rapunzel, The Brave Little Tailor, Hansel and Gretel, Cinderella, and the circus? Grimm’s fairy tales have inspired the imaginations of countless generations. During this week, campers will retell some of the Grimm’s most popular tales mentioned above, utilizing the circus arts of juggling, acrobatics, and clowning.

  • Coyote Stories – Native American Tricksters, Clowns and Teachers

    Teatro ZinZanni artists join with teachers and performers of the Native American community to retell stories and legends of the Native American tribes of the Pacific Northwest. These tales will be performed through a blend of theatre and circus arts including clowning, acrobatics, and juggling.

    Formed in 1990, Red Eagle Soaring is a non-profit Native Youth Theatre company based in Seattle. It was formed by a group of Native theatre artists as a tribute to Nez Perce actor, John Kauffman. Red Eagle Soaring creates theatre that celebrates Native culture and fosters community interconnectedness.

    One of our most popular camps! Teatro ZinZanni aerialist and choreographer Dreya Weber leads this one-week aerial camp experience. For 9 years Dreya ran the recreational flying trapeze program at the International Gymnastic Training Center in Stroudsburg, PA. She is known throughout the world for her aerial choreography, seen recently in acts like Pink, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift. Dreya has appeared in several dinner shows at Teatro ZinZanni, both in Seattle and San Francisco. This week focuses on aerial arts, acrobatics and how to tell a story through movement.
